It’s that time of year again: the leaves are changing, pumpkin spice is everywhere, and Small Business Saturday is right around the corner! We can’t wait to celebrate with our customers (I’ve already got my list of small businesses to visit… how about you?)
However, we know that not everyone may be feeling the holiday cheer this season—especially when 50% of business owners are worried their organization won’t survive another year.
We get it. After all, many here at Ruby are small business owners themselves. Those Rubys, like you, are dealing with…
Economic realities including a looming recession, ongoing labor shortage, and stubborn supply chain issues.
Unrest and uncertainty stemming from global conflicts, industry-wide shifts, and technological disruptions.
And most importantly, a lack of community to help tackle these challenges together.
That last point is one that has been top of mind for us recently. Ruby has always been a Great Place to Work, but what does that mean when most of our workforce is now remote? How can we promote our goal of creating more connections when the physical space between us is wider than ever?
Last year, we doubled down on our commitment to small business success by introducing a renewed mission and vision. Now, we’re quadrupling down (that’s a thing, right?) by building a new kind of small business community—a digital space where entrepreneurs and teams of all sizes can exchange ideas and offer support.
We’re kicking things off this week by featuring stories from some of our favorite small business customers—and our very own Ruby entrepreneurs—across our social channels. And that’s just the start. Over the next year, we’re inviting business owners to use these spaces as a way to share advice and words of encouragement during these uncertain times. Because, while we’re all feeling the pressure, we’re also #smallinthistogether.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
